Low power mode for me. But that happens so rarely these days. My phone is a year old and holds a charge all day so I just charge it overnight. Plus I am mostly on zooms during the day so use my phone much less than in the old days.
I got a power brick a couple of years ago and that makes it much easier - I don't ever need to worry about being near a plug. |

I am home all day so this is not something I think about at ALL. I never plug my phone in during the day, only at night. Sometimes in the evening it's below 30%.
BUT: if I am leaving the house, I make sure I charge it. So if I was going out to dinner with friends, I'd plug it in at some point before I left. Especially if I am not driving (since I can charge in the car) and am taking public transportation or Uber. If I'm going to a friend's house I wouldn't even think about it. When I went to the office, I would sometimes charge for a little during the day. Like I wouldn't let it go below 50% since I was away from home. Just in case. |

Someone in this relationship has an anxiety issue if this is worth posting on DCUM.

I was C, 10%. But now my phone battery is so old (and not replaceable, but that's a gripe for another day...) that, when it gets down to 15-18%, any little activity will make it immediately die. Yesterday afternoon, it was reading 16%. I got the chime for an incoming text, and by the time I picked it up, the phone was dead. Couldn't restart - said 0%. Plugged it in, waited a couple minutes, turned it on, and it was back to 16%.
So now I'm more like 20% and I'll plug it in. When I get a new phone I'll likely be a 10% person again. |
| Under 40% is when I start thinking about it. Also, I feel a little anxious if it's not at or close to 100% at the beginning of the day. |
| how do people find the energy to worry about insignificant crap like this? I have a charger cord in my purse in case I need one. If my phone goes dead, I don't have a cow. |
| Im definitely D or E level. Do t panic and my phone is rarely charged. |
| I have a dumb phone that beeps when I have an hour left. I keep a power bank in my car which has been a lifesaver on more than one occasion. I highly recommend you invest in one of these if you walk around alone at night and get stalked /catcalled/etc right as your phone dies. |

I plug it in every night.
I plug it in whenever I am in the car (though that's for carplay more than anything else). At home or at the office, on the exceedingly rare locations it threatens low power mode, I may plug it in, depending on the time of day. |

If mine gets to 20%, I start thinking about a charger. It doesn’t “bother me” any more than getting down to a quarter tank of gas. I just know I need to fill up when I get the chance.
Exception - hurricanes or tornadoes. We live in a part of Florida where both are risks. I keep everything fully charged during any kind of warning. |
| Doesn't it deteriorate your battery if you keep charging to 100% all the time? I think Verizon told me that 20-70% is the range we should target and we should not be plugged to recharge above 20% regularly. |
| C. But usually around 10% |

I don’t like having an uncharged phone (just unplugged at 95%). I have a charger in most rooms at home, one in the car, and one at work so I’m prepared. |
Eh, I've had my phone for several years, and the battery is fine. You're going to have to replace your phone for other reasons before the battery is shot. |
| I am A. I have a coworker and we were sharing a charger one day. I had my phone plugged in because it was at 73%. She showed me her phone and it was at like 6%…. I let her have it 🤪 |
