What? We don't know that the kid was abused or if it was self defense. Knock it off.

The neighbors are very clear that the kid and the parents had really bad shouting matches and police reports were filed numerous times at the house.

The backyard was tiny. Buried in his own garden.

The amount of people justifying murder in this thread is a little disturbing. We don't know the circumstances and context yet. A bit strange to immediately jump to defending the murderer.

Yes, he’s an only child and the neighbors said the father complained about him constantly. No elaboration on why.
