+1,000 And my dad taught my sisters and I to make our own $$. I married well (husband makes $$$), but I am a STEM major/graduate degree that has always made my own bank. I do not want my sons to end up with gold diggers that are only into them for the wallet. But, smart, decent men can smell that kind a mile away. Probably why these pps have had no luck

I agree this is who OP needs but where does she meet them? They are probably introverts. Dating websites. OP, I met my DH in undergrad. He wasn’t rich then, and probably isn’t right now by DCUM standards. But I have been a SAHM for 15 years and we have a comfortable life and nice home. |
| Be thin, sexy, and confident |
| You reek of desperation, no rich guy will want to marry you. And while age and just college education are big issues against you, it’s the lame desperation and the feeling of being a loser that will ensure this doesn’t happen for you. |
| Maybe you can have an obsessive hobby or interest and snag someone who is also into that? How about a mini triathlon training program, cross fit, jujitsu, or something similar? Look for nerds who like to exercise. All the men I went to college with who got rich picked up at least one of these. Maybe a cycling group? Pick something male dominated and time consuming. You can be the girl that really gets them. |
+3 yup! I’m ambitious educated great jobs and attracted and married a rich guy. And I’m an excellent home maker and mom. |
|
Ok the question is WHERE do you meet these type of guys
Not what the standards are that you should already meet |
| They’re on the apps, just like all other single men. Look for the nerds. |
Ha! OP is no trophy. |
| Find a bar where young lawyers hang out - lots of nice nerdy guys that have been gunning forever and would love to meet somebody that's not too complicated - but you will need to be somewhat smart/good conversationalist to pull this off or very good looking. |
Yeah me too. I carry my weight and expect my daughters to do the same. It's an insurance policy against divorce and infidelity. I'm highly educated, bring in as much as my husband and take care of my body and looks. My family is a bit wealthier, but not too different than his. Ironically, statistically, we are the demographic least likely to divorce. I don't want any man freeloading off my family, so my daughters will not do this anyone either. Good luck to you the OP! I'm sure there is some desperate guy out there. |

Date older. Someone in their late 40s or early 50s will be happy to find someone who is younger, good looking, and willing to give them attention. They will want you to be financially stable and have a profession, they may not want kids - if they wanted them, they probably would look for someone younger.
Not trying to be mean, I have several friends in their mid 30s, and for those that were picky about looks, money, etc, they had to go older to get attention from the men they wanted. They all just used dating apps, so it’s not like there are special bars they find these guys. |

There are plenty of men that like traditional women out there. They tend to not marry women in their mid 30s that "love sex" and spent the last 15 years having it with random artsy guys and who now want to settle.down. Most people who think this way are paired up by early to mid 20s and married before 30.
Sorry. Try a divorced guy maybe? |
| You’re already mid thirties and haven’t figured this out yet? |
Op is mid 30s, most young law associates are looking for someone around their own age or a little younger. |
