Large age gaps, 25-30 years... does it always mean one person has issues/baggage?

Bags of money typically.

Funny, but in the few couples I know like this the guy doesn’t have money at all.with one of them, she’s the primary earner.

Is she 25 years older than her husband/boyfriend?

No, he’s 52 and she’s 27.

I've primarily dated women in their early 30s. One in her late 20s. One in her late 30s. I am very successful and most of the women I've dated know this (meet through some type of work).

It's never discussed, but I know if I wasn't wealthy half of them wouldn't be as keen on dating me. But, when a man can take you on weekend trips, nice restaurants, treats you well, etc it's a real attraction.

Ummm..not physical attraction at all but I think you know that. Perhaps $ attraction. I don’t see how women can be with someone they are not physically attracted to. Yuck.

You’re just like my ex, same age and he makes a lot, uses it for power and control. Takes them a while to discover he is a narcissist and incredibly abusive. Puts on a good show, with nice incentives. I do not envy them at all.

Yes, you do, or you wouldn't be here complaining about him.

It might be enviable when she's 24 and off in Paris with a fit 49 year old but much less so when she's 50 and he's 75 and experiencing senior health issues and cannot enjoy sex the same way.

This. And time goes by way faster than you think. However she can just bail when that time comes and will.

Or possibly you attract women with daddy issues. Or women who feel a bit lost and are attracted to men who seem more settled.

Don't get jealous, PP. Not everyone has daddy issues and people do get attracted towards success and money. LOL

Nah. I remember when I was 25 the only girls who dated much older had issues. Daddy issues, mental health issues, but something. Men like to tell themselves it’s just the natural order, but surely deep down they know it’s not true and when they were 25, their peers who were well adjusted weren’t dating divorcees.

I'm in my late 50s and have noticed young Asian women are interested in a guy like me. They don't seem to have daddy issues, and they do seem very grown up despite being in their 20s.

This. Men from the 80s seem to be less into porn and hence better in bed. They also seem to be better at being roommates, getting along with one another, and normalized to monogamous singular marriage. Before everything was "gay", straight men could be cool-looking, masculine, rip, etc. They also seem less mean-spirited as tabloids/female celebrity bashing was considered tawdry, not normal. Even watching the Rodney King/Civil Rights vs the Unite the Right/neo-nazi stuff now, it was easier to find anti-racists moving in a good direction. Female primary earners have the choice to marry someone for his character.
