How much do you pay your babysitter?

You’re lucky. NP here and we pay $25 an hour for just one four year old. Our sitter is in her 30’s and a preschool teacher during the day.

I would never be comfortable with a teenage babysitter.

Our babysitter is 32 and my son loves her. She told us she charges $16/hour for our 1 kid, but we usually end up paying about $20/hr once I round up and add a tip.

If you both ask her for the same night- who's family do you think she's choosing

We pay up to get priority of our sitter....and keep her fav ice cream stocked

I would love a teenage babysitter, but I don't have many ties to the area and don't know of any. Right now I use a sitter that I found on Care. $20/hr for one 8 year old. Date nights cost us an extra $100 unfortunately
