He's a doormat salesman.

He prob was a doormat and gave away all his top clients or something. Or someone left and he sat there watching his coworkers land grab new accounts while he did nothing. Or he’s just not making quota yet everyone else is.

So, not shocking. At least he has a spouse fighting for him.

True. Could be.

Hopefully he get some good advice from friends and family he can trust about whatever is going on at work.

1) I'm shocked (but shouldn't be) that somebody would say that to their spouse like that
2) I'm surprised a man would share it out loud - isn't that a violation of the man code?
3) what would you do/think if your spouse called you a "f'ing doormat?"

Maybe she needs to wake him up. He needs to advocate, get the promotion, fight for his family, stick up fir what’s right at work… Not be an F’in doormat!

What is funny is that she is probably a secretary that hates every single person she works with... only to come home and tear into her husband for not being more successful.

Do people thiink that hyper success is so easy to achieve. For every senior level executive position, there are at least a dozen people vying for it. And those people are pretty much fungible.
