Is this money well spent?

I can’t imagine leaving dishes from the night before. That’s just gross. Maybe you need the help at night.

I hired her and pay her $30/hour. It’s expensive but it’s great. She takes care of everything. She does all of our dishes, she gets breakfast ready for my son, she cleans up his breakfast mess, she preps all the fruit and vegetables that I purchase, she does all of our laundry, washes sheets, and she vacuums, mops, and cleans the bathrooms on a rotation. She will also do any special projects that I have in mind, for example she unpacked a random box of pantry items and put everything away for me. Also she takes my son to the bus stop. My son really likes her, and so do I. She has a really nice personality and she just wants to be helpful. She told me the other day that a good family is hard to find. So it seems to be working out. I’ve made peace with the price tag. It stings, but, I really enjoyed being liberated from elsewhere. And also, it’s made me cook more because I don’t have to worry about stopping pots and pans. I can just leave everything to soak overnight and I know she will take care of in the morning.

I love this! So glad it worked out. I’m all for anything that makes things easier for mom.

She does this all in 2 hrs a day? That’s impressive
