Scarlett I think of Gone With the Wind.
Eliza Jane, I think of the song, Little Liza Jane. Eliza is fine, but don’t use Scarlett. |
| Scarlett Doolittle or Eliza O'Hara. |
Eliza is ugly to me. It's the Z. Scarlett, like, Scarlett letter? Claire is so much better. Go with that. |
|
Eliza J is a clothing brand.
I like Claire more |
|
Scarlett is a little too “dance moms” for me!
Eliza is classic and pretty- not overly common. |
Claire is literally a name of a tween retail store. |
| Scarlett is becoming overused. We already know 2. I’d say go with Eliza. |
| I love Scarlett. It’s always been my favorite girl name. |
| I feel like a Scarlett has to have red hair. |
| I don't care for Scarlett at all, but Eliza is fine. |
My thoughts exactly. Scarlett permanently ruined by GWTW |
| Eliza Claire or Eliza Grace. |
|
Eliza.
Scarlett is so overused and has always sounded harsh and kind of low class to me. |
| Both are pretty, but I prefer Scarlett, as it strikes me as slightly less frequently used. |
|
I like both names. I think Eliza is a little classier, Scarlett is a little more fun.
I don't love your middle names for either, though. They're fine but super predictable and the combos you suggest double down on the issue with each name. Eliza Jane seems really trite and boring, and Scarlett Grace makes Scarlett seems a little more southern-fried. The one-syllable middle is kind of tired. I would do Eliza Claire (I think I like this the most) or Scarlett Claire, or Scarlett Eliza. |
