Better: string cheese, mixed nuts (esp. ones that take time to shell, pistachios or walnuts), peanut butter & apples, guacamole (I tell myself if I actually make it--avo, lime, salt, tomatoes--I have a pass on the chips), charcuterie board (high on protein, low on crackers), tzatziki w/ veggies.

clearly you didn't read any of them - you repeated some and charcuterie boards are TERRIBLE for you - soooo processed

I mostly buy 100 calorie snack packs so if I eat more than one, I am still not technically overdoing it.

Sweet peppers dipped in guacamole is my favorite snack. Also like:

Cucumbers and tzatiki sauce
Baby carrots with brown mustard
Apple with peanut butter
Chips & fresh salsa

Favorite summer meal is quinoa, with chopped cucumber, halved cherry tomatoes, with chimichurri.

Definitely nuts, with low salt. I also like the Nature Valley protein bars they sell at Costco (with nuts and chocolate). And I switched to 5% fage plain yogurt. With a little honey. Oatmeal for breakfast, homemade.

Key is to eat before I get hungry - 5x per day for me.

also, most of yours have a lot of salt...which for me triggers more hunger feeling.

Carrots -- the long ones, not baby carrots -- with a thin layer of hummus usually do the trick for me. Crunch, heft, flavor, and protein. And very filling!

Nuts are high calorie, addictive and not filling. Charcuterie is what I’d have on an indulgent evening, along with some cheese. Same with guac. String cheese? Eh. PB is too caloric. Plain apples are perfect.

Hommus hardly has any protein in it. Maybe a couple grams per serving

It has a ton of fiber though. Nothing wrong with hummus.

I guess it depends how much you eat. The hummus I currently have in my frig (Ithaca brand) has 1 gram of fiber and 2
gram of protein for a 2 tablespoon serving. Nothing at all wrong with that, but it isn’t really all that nutrient dense

Yellow tomatoes with Mozzarella cheese, garnished with olive oil, Bellei Sua Maesta vinegar and fresh basil.

I eat it everyday in summertime.
