Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders Making the Team 2021

YES about the hair! Season four, I love the one where they take the blonde and make her black haired. She was so miserable about it and they accused her of having an attitude and almost cut her for it. Pure gold.

I also love when they do the interview portion some of them don’t even know who the vice president is or something.

That said, I watch the show because I’m fascinated by it, and there’s no way I could ever do anything like what they’re doing. The only section of this tryout that I could pass is the interview section.

Agreed. And I swear, I'm not normally "like this" but when they put them in the water to measure fat content, and then literally measured their fat (which was around zero) to see if they would fit into the uniform. It's so grossly over the top misogynistic that it's hard not to watch, like a car wreck. These two middle aged, overweight (at least Kelly is) ladies passing such severe judgment on these women with .5% body fat.... It's just hilarious.

Hmm, it seems a little late for a start date. Last year’s show was an abbreviated version. Hoping this year is the whole enchilada.

The hairstylist who was in charge of the salon/makeovers was so gnarly, too!

Oh my gosh. I had never heard of this show but a clip popped up on my Facebook feed and I watched it. Now I've spent the past 48 hours watching episodes.
I'm completely hooked.

Signed, 47 year old mom who was a tomboy as a teenager.

Also, I could watch Kelli talk for hours. I find her somewhat mesmerizing.

I was impressed last year when she posted some BLM stuff on her social media. She is a confident woman. I love her facial expressions.

Thank you for the reminder! My family makes fun of me for watching the show but it's my guilty pleasure and I look forward to it every year. Last season was a bit lame with covid but I'm hoping this season will be better.

Why did they do that to her? That is a super drastic change and no doubt did not match her skin tone.

PP (middle aged former dance teamer)…I can answer this!

The DCC needs a diverse-looking team, so besides having some racial diversity, the team (and the almighty calendar!) can’t just be comprised of bleached blondes. It seems that every year, a few “blondes” are forced to undergo a transformation (predictably red or amber) under the auspices of “making her eyes pop.”

And, let me just say that I truly do not understand why the potential DCC-ers who dislike the change/makeover feel emboldened to complain. I get that it makes a great story line but I’m at home watching thinking, “just shut up and smile and tell Kelly how much you love the new look!” Kelly is watching g your attitude and if you can’t roll with this change, clearly you are not a team player and will catch her ire.

PP and Kitty!

Comedy gold! Hot mess, overweight former DCC-Er from the way back origin days (preceding the iconic uniform and massive poms, btw) now dance studio owner and sometimes choreographer and judge. Love-hate how old school snarky and critical she is!

And her teaching style, “1-2-boom-da-boom-bam-switch-Kaylee your mouth is hanging open/are you catching flies?Boom-hit-no, no,no…ughhhhh”
