PP (middle aged former dance teamer)…I can answer this!

The DCC needs a diverse-looking team, so besides having some racial diversity, the team (and the almighty calendar!) can’t just be comprised of bleached blondes. It seems that every year, a few “blondes” are forced to undergo a transformation (predictably red or amber) under the auspices of “making her eyes pop.”

And, let me just say that I truly do not understand why the potential DCC-ers who dislike the change/makeover feel emboldened to complain. I get that it makes a great story line but I’m at home watching thinking, “just shut up and smile and tell Kelly how much you love the new look!” Kelly is watching g your attitude and if you can’t roll with this change, clearly you are not a team player and will catch her ire.[/quote]
