| OP here. My family has a house in Bethany and we go up there year round. We are looking for tropical with calm, clear water! I want to be able to take my son in the ocean! |

We have stayed here and it was fabulous. It appears that they now have a kids club.
Seven Stars caters to its youngest guests with a full range of supervised activities and experiences. Whether they're hunting for lizards, building sandcastles, exploring our adventure playground or collecting shells along our beachfront, children make new friends while parents enjoy some playtime of their own. Our dedicated and trained Club Team is on hand with daily supervised activities, including sailing lessons, snorkeling and eco-educational experiences. http://www.sevenstarsgracebay.com/index.php |
| New poster here. For those who have stayed at Beaches before--what is the level of luxury and the quality of the food? |

I was not impressed with Turks and Caicos at all. Everyone there seemed to be American...even the waiters at the restaurants - there wasn't the island vibe that I've found on other islands. The restaurants were all very expensive and seemed impossible to get out of there even without alcohol for under $100 for 2 due to the island's "resort" tax. I felt like I was in Florida.
That said, if you are set on going to T&C, we stayed at Royal West Indies http://www.royalwestindies.com/virtual_tour.htm. You can get rooms with kitchens and there were lots of families there that would buy things to make for dinner/lunch. The rooms were very nice and the beach and pool area was great. |
