Here we go again. Resident a-hole who has determine there is absolutely no possibility of side effects for this vaccine |
| My first cycle after Moderna was 71 days compared to my normal 35 days. The next cycle was 30 days. We’ll see what this next one brings. |
Guarantee this is some man who is still freaked out by the idea that women bleed. |
+1. |
Don’t know why you would say this. My cycle is now shorter, 24 days, that’s a fact. I would still get my vaccine 1 million times over but it’s interesting to hear from other women who are noticing the same thing. |
Correlation doesn’t equal causation. I had a nagging injury for several months. The day after I got my first shot, it was completely gone and has never come back. I guess it must have been the vaccine according to your logic. |
| Okay, I had Moderna and everything has been the same. |
| Are there any articles about what is causing or how to treat? DD’s are much longer and Dr didn’t have suggestions. I understand the CDC is investigating. |
Except when you have OBs fielding more calls about cycle issues than ever before, that might be an indication. Thousands of women on health boards about this. Dear PP - At what point, are we allowed to speak of this ? |

I'm not invalidating anyone else's experience, just want to share mine.
I'm 44, I received both Pfizer shots (second one in Feb), and I have not experienced any effects with my period. Same intensity, duration, and time between periods; no changes. I do not discount the experience of other women though, and it should be investigated. |
Or it’s just normal unexplained hormonal fluctuations that occur ALL THE TIME and now people have something to pin it on. |
| I'm 46 and my periods have been spotty for years. Sometimes 22 days, sometimes 30, a lot of variance. Was not the case in my 30s, this has been a "40s" thing for me. I'm not saying that there is no chance some women's cycles are thrown off by getting vaccinated, but also a lot of women have cycle changes all the time, and a lot of women got vaccinated, so the natural overlap between those groups is going to be huge. If this happened a lot, it seems like the trials would have found it. |
Why are some people so hellbent on not believing that there could be a connection? Why is this a problem for you if the vaccine has an effect on cycle length? |
You are right but it’s good to get feedback and listen to other women’s experiences. |

im 36 with pcos. generally have longer cycles- 35ish days, with the occasional 40ish day cycle. but ive been pretty steady at 30+ day cycles.
since getting second pfizer shot in late march, my cycles have been 22-24 days. and now with random breakthrough bleeding. i'm completely pro vaccine. but honestly, what gives? this is getting a little disturbing. |
