Again no different than DC in August. Would rather be on the beach in Miami in August than in DC. |
| The Faena was gorgeous, great for a long weekend. Restaurant there is very nice, think it is Pao |
| If you want romance and quiet, I don’t know if Miami is what you’re looking for, it’s none of those things during the summer. If you haven’t traveled in a long time I’m afraid you’ll be very disappointed with Miami and South beach. If you must go try Sunny isles. |

This! My all time favorite hotel, and you can use your Bonvoy points |

Obvs we don't know you, but I spend a fair amount of time on South Beach for work and while I have found it an incredibly refreshing escape from the DC bubble, I don't really leave my hotel room after 8pm. Even the CVS is like a club.
And all of this is without considering Covid or hurricanes. The recs for Nantucket/Vineyard sound good. Try Miami in 1Q, pre-spring break if you want to check it out. |
| St. Regis Bal harbour. But yes, nobody cares about covid down there. |
