Public Barred from LCPS School Board Meetings

The last one was a zoo. With delta throwing plans for a loop they have too much to do to be sidetracked and waylaid by the CRT circus. Have your performance in the parking lot, I need them to figure out school for my kids.

No more mobs. Sounds reasonable to me.

Keep most of the trash like this out.

Time to replace the entire LCPS board.

I’m gonna start referring to your son as “she” because that’s what my religious beliefs tell me to do.

It wasn't closed to the public. You had to sign up before the start of the meeting to speak. There were so many people signed up that it was estimated to take 6 hours. I didn't get to watch the entire thing, but I believe it did go 6 hours from what I've seen on FB. I think time was called and the vote will now happen tomorrow afternoon.

I think it's terrible that some of the Equity Loudoun speakers didn't feel comfortable enough to come in person due to what had transpired in the past. Also, nothing that was discussed tonight had to do with the CRT issue at all, so I feel that those protestors should have been made to set up at a perimeter farther back. It just distracts from the important issue of trans rights, which was the main point tonight.

Did you see the teacher who took her allotted time to publicly resign because she felt she had been forced to push a “politicized agenda” on students? They are going to find a way to keep it in the spotlight regardless of what’s actually on the docket.

Omg - not what I wanted to see while drinking my morning coffee.

Did his pants wind up falling down?

Not only was a man arrested, but he didn't even have kids in FCPS. The meetings were just an attraction for the outraged losers who want to scream fox news talking points at public servants.

Sounds about right for this board. Why bother to answer to the voters. Just silence them.

That isn’t what’s happening. The public can still address the board. They just can’t all be in the room at the same time. I don’t agree with that, but don’t mischaracterize what’s happening.

One problem is LCPS has been elevated by the National anti-America media like Fox News, Daily Caller, etc, and they have a lot of rabid followers. So it’s become a proxy battle with a lot of bad actors who don’t even live in the county. One of them, a guy from California, was harassing the LCPS on its official Facebook group. So there is that.

Nobody is silenced. They sign up and get 2 solo minutes at a podium to address the board. What they don’t get, but most want, is an audience and a scene.

My religion says to call him "devil spawn". Hope he's OK with that.

Awww, you are such pitiful little victim. The big bad school board has "silenced" your threats and disinformation campaigns.

There was worse going on at the meeting that the sheriff's office didn't do anything about. Some guy hit a woman wearing a pride shirt. Also threats were made to people there supporting transgendered students. It was worse than what was reported.

Another LIAR. No one has silenced your unhinged mob. Learn how to act like an adult.

Your crew showed up to a sb meeting hoping to reenact 1/6. It's your group who silences people. Your group refused to give up the floor and continued screaming and yelling when anyone voiced an opinion different than yours. Your crew were threatening people there, even those with children.

You are a threat to this country not your imaginary antifa.
