Best summer camps (2021) thread!

Kids After Hours Adventure. Fun field trips every day, most with swimming involved. Staff is fantastic -- excellent at engaging the kids and communicating openly with parents.

One case of Covid but no transmission at camp. Counselors all vaxxed.

Do they offer a bus service?

My kids are loving Steve and Kate's Georgetown, but they are younger and had never been to camp before.

Landon’s Boys Day Camp was fantastic!

My kid really seemed to love their week at Create Arts. Aftercare was depressing AF, though.

Our kids have probably crossed paths. For specialty camps, mine also like Art House 7 and Reston Golf.

My kids enjoyed green acres. Pick up was a mess the first week, but got better as the summer went on.

Meadowbrook riding camp. Small groups, attentive instructors and counselors, DD loves it there. Only drawback is the price!

Can you guys also put the age of your kids so I don’t sign my 11 year old up for a camp that’s good for 6 year olds 😂 thanks!

DS (12) really liked the fencing camp (full day) at Cardinal Fencing Academy in Dulles. I think they hold camps for the younger ones starting at 6 and then has one for the upper age (preteen/tee) group.

They offered before care and camps ends at 4:30pm/5pm-ish. Not sure if there was an aftercare offered; we didn't need it.

Another +1. My kids never want to go anywhere else. It’s a special place.
