| I really like unusual names and I hate Tempest. Big no from me. |
First thing I thought of, PP! |
I was going to post this. Tempest Bledsoe. I wish I could remember more important things than this. I didn't even have to look it up. |
| I don’t like how prominently the alliteration PEST features in the name. Generally I like strong, quirky names — especially nature names! — but this is a miss. |
| stupid |
| Honestly, this is one of the worst name proposals I've seen in 10+ years on DCUM, and that's saying something. |
| Prepare for other parents on the playground to roll their eyes behind your back. |
| Too stuffy. Go with Stormy. |

I like very traditional names, but OP, I kind of love Tempest! I say go for it.

That’s a bummer. I feel Tempest would work well as a middle name, in a way that it doesn’t work as a first name. Even boring names like Sarah sound cool with Tempest as a middle! Sarah Tempest is fun. Anna Tempest is cool. Even Isabella Tempest is awesome! You really should reconsider Tempest as a middle name. |
You forget your signature, Emma's mom. |
+1. I think every one of us who thought of this are between the ages of 45 and 50. And what’s also taking up space in my brain - she spells it Tempestt. |
| Stripper name! |
| FYI, I don’t know if you were going for a Shakespeare connection, but The Tempest is pretty problematic regarding race and colonialism. |
I'm Charlotte's mom, thank you very much. |
