NBCs Olympic coverage stinks

The main Tokyo broadcasting feed that many networks use has apparently managed to do the entire men’s gymnastics qualifying and team final and not show Nikita Nagornyy once. The reigning World champion. That takes deliberate effort or stunning incompetence.

That's crazy, but not NBC's fault apparently.

3rd most popular sport in the world, field hockey, as far as I can find, not a minute of it aired on NBC Olympics coverage. Only streaming.

Have you seen the start of the men's triathlon? Where the TV boat is in the way of the competitors jumping into the water? Classic.

Go to nbcolympics.com
It gives you the ability to watch live (and replays) of every single event. You have total control over which events you want to watch. Not at the mercy of network TV bouncing around to different stuff.
My family has been having a lot of fun. We are even watching on our big TV, but using the stream from the website rather than any of the NBC TV stations.

It requires a tv provider login to access the web content IME, unless I am missing something. We have a Peacock subscription and ended up subscribing to NBC SN through Hulu Live and the coverage is only marginally better, both live and on demand. The sports that my daughter really wanted to see (fencing) is basically not being aired.

We were watching gymnastics and the Simone Biles interview came on -- with my 5 and 7 year olds in the room. We've talked about sexual abuse before and it was another reminder to always talk about it, but after a week long vacation, I wish I didn't have to do it in that exact moment.

Use the NBC Sports app. You can replay and fast forward pretty much any event.

Let's have more film of him please

I’ll add Alica Schmidt and Alex Morgan (check out her SI Swimsuit Issue).

Yawn. Overexposed and typical. We want the beads, coconut oil, that crazy skirt and the rest of it.
