Savannah: “let’s all just take a moment….”

Imagine if a guy anchor said that about a girl.

It was really bad/sad with an empty stadium.

That was the only cool thing of the ceremony but I did like the drones and thought they could have done more with them.

Those cardboard beds won’t stop him from getting down at the Olympic village!

Does anyone know the music that was playing when the torch was walking up to the cauldron?
Not Imagine and not the Japanese choir, but some other pop song.

The drones were great. the pictograms were funny. That piano player was awesome.

Team USA, I want to be supportive, but you made me cringe.

I’m half Japanese and so disappointed by their opening ceremony. So much history and culture to pull from and nothing. Just bad random modern dance.

Not to mention, they had an empty stadium. They could’ve done so much—lights or screens.

Bolero? Not a pop song.

Why on earth didn't they let the athletes sit down? It was so awkward the way they were all standing around.

The only good parts were the light shows and the drones - very cool.

I thought the wacko piano player coupled with the ridiculous Kabuki character was just... ridiculous.

The athletes always are on the floor. They never sit down. They are part of the ceremony.
