Are you OK? Who abused you as a child? So you think Sporting Global will pack up shop and turn their backs on 35 teams worth of kids? Maybe they negotiate a better deal with Revolution than what the old Evergreen owner had with them. Time will tell. In the meantime, chill with your crude sexual fetish references. |

Uhhhhhhh this doesn't mean Barca is closing shop. Even if Evergreen FC 2.0 does kick them out. The rental commitments are going to be met through the end of the season. |
I heard that Barca has already reserved fields next year at Hanson park. That's the new county park opening next year in Ashburn off Evergreen Rd just a few miles from where they are now |
Not possible to reserve County fields for next year. |
Correct. Fields are reserved one season at a time. Counties just finished fall fields and are starting work on winter. |
| fields aren't "reserved" like a table at a restaurant, they are requested through an allocation process and doled out based on enrollment |
| If it makes anyone feel better, scheduling with Barca this fall has been a beast. They claim no field availability. |
LOL. Please. Without a core base of IT nerds, Loudoun is a provincial little hamlet. Don’t kid yourself. |
| I heard PSG youth club is moving in. |
2017 called and it wants it's joke back. |

What is your obsession with this Club? What axe do you have to grind?
My kids were with Barca for 4 years and it was a fantastic experience. The coaches and training were top notch. They both developed beautifully. They made top teams after departing, and the only reason they departed was because of location. We could no longer do the distance as they approached high school. If Barca moved closer in, we'd go back in a heartbeat. Field allocation/space was something they were always talking about/working on. It's not like they are blindsided by any means. It was always an on-going conversation, even the talk of building their own facility. And, they aren't alone in their continued quest for space. Even some of the big established Clubs have to pack multiple teams into a tiny space, not use whole fields, etc. Or have ridiculously late or earlier practice times. |
Isn't the BEST club in the region, Bethesda, spread about at many locations for games and practices? How do they survive without one unified grand sports park? |
It can work if practice locations are arranged by age groups but when random teams are just placed at random locations it is hard to develop a club system with any oversight. |
Which is why Barca will be extinct in NOVA after this year |
