You can do that but the box gets trashed right away and your precious crayon could easily end up in another kids desk. Why would you possibly care?

I would prefer that the kids have their own supplies, more for germ control and because my kid doesn't chew on his pencils and the like, but I don't think that labeling anything means my kid will get his own folders. We labelled last year because our teachers asked us to, due to COVID. We are not this year because we have not been asked to.
