Oh my god yes my kids looooooove these. Less annoying to me but still beloved are the Spot the Dog lift the flap books.

The Carl books. No words but great story/illustrations and perfect for a one year old.

Both kids: anything with flaps

One kid: books with trucks

Other kid: books with baby faces, books that you could act out physically, like some of the Helen Oxenbury books (All Fall Down) or More More More Said the Baby
