On second thought, I kind of like the glacier tea floral and the steel blue spring bud prints, but the blush tea floral looked too precious from a distance.
In any event, the best accessory for a floral dress remains youth. |
I like the first dress better, too. Really love Boden. |

OP, are you tall or short?
I know you're pear shaped, but pear-shaped tall could easily pull off that skirt (I'm pear shaped tall), while for pear-shaped short, it might make you look...well even more pear like. I like the patterns on the skirt and the 'granny' dress. And can I just say, I have worn granny dresses all my life. I expect to make a smooth transition into my 60s, I guess. |
Agree with this! The print on this skirt and the fact that it's a-line would make it a natural pick for a pear shaped woman, but not a short pear. First, it's too long. It would probably fall past my knees (5'3") and doesn't look like it would be an easy hem. I love it though, if you're a little taller. |

O.P. here. I posted this morning and I am just reading the replies now. Looks like 9:23 hijacked my thread
Thanks to those you replied to the first dress. I am 5'6 so I think I might be able to pull it off. |
| Sorry, OP. I thought you and 9:23 are the same person. I am the 12:40 poster. I really like that skirt, you're not too old, and at 5'6" I think it'd look great. |

O.P. again,
Thanks P.P. I will give it a go! |
| LOVE the skirt! |
| Sorry, I don't like it at all... |
Agree. What an odd top to pair it with in the photo. |
| The skirt is not cute. |
