Dog barking - how much is too much

Yes we check on her when she starts barking. She likes to stay in cool places. When it's hot outside she likes to stay inside and lie on tile flooring. She goes out to release herself or to get some fresh air whenever she likes, through her little dog door. She fits into our lifestyle very well, except for the random barking. We'll try to correct it over time. Thank you for your input.

Now imagine how annoying the random barking is throughout the day for your neighbors. I can assure you, it does not fit into anyone else’s lifestyle well at all. Don’t “try” to correct it “over time.” Nip it in the bud. Now.
