Heat policy for masks?

All I know is Sidwell camp made my kid play tennis outdoors in 98 degrees for THREE HOURS IN A MASK. the maskers are truly nuts.

md preschool. kids didn't wear masks outside since they started last summer.

No camp made your kid do anything. YOU chose to enroll your kid in a camp where YOU should’ve known the masking policy. This is on you as the parent. Keep your kid home unmasked or send to an unmasked camp if you don’t like the rules where you are.

No camp made your kid do anything. YOU chose to enroll your kid in a camp where YOU should’ve known the masking policy. This is on you as the parent. Keep your kid home unmasked or send to an unmasked camp if you don’t like the rules where you are.

So I have no idea about Sidwell, but a lot of camps were indicating they’d follow the state/local health recommendations, which have been evolving. Camps that were originally slated to require masks outside now are not, because the guidance has changed. That example definitely sounds extreme and I’d demand justification for their decision at this point.

CDC recommendation is for those unvaccinated to mask. 12 and under are not vaccinated.

+1. Pretty shocked at the number of unmasked kids running around now. Feel like I need to keep my kids at home.
