Do you have to go to Beltsville location to see the windows. It looks like they give you an estimate via email. |
Anderson makes great windows but f@ck any company that won’t give me an estimate unless my husband is also present. |
Top third of estimates we got. But the work, cleanup, timing, was meticulous. |
Is Windows on Washington cheaper than Anderson? |
Yes. We used them in 2019. They were considerably cheaper than Anderson and much more professional than other companies that we got quotes from |
-I caution anyone using NOVA exteriors. Neighbor used them, everything was great. I used them, terrible installation and other issues with them not finishing the job. They were not cheap.
-I another house I used window and door showplace in McLean. I indeed up doing a full tear out and not replacement. Cost a little more, but was good to start fresh. I used Marvin wood. -most recently used Hodges bin falls church. Took haggling but they did the work and a price I could like with. Complicated installation l. |
Yes, we got the estimate in the email and then made the drive to look at the windows. It was worth the price savings to make the drive! |
After you choose the window, do you have to sign a contract before they come and take their own measurements. I don't feel comfortable without them seeing before signing a contract. I know my measurements are close. |
I am assuming Windows on Washington does not try to pressure you like Anderson? Do they just give a price and let you decide. Horrible experience with Window nation and some others. |
Another vote for Unicorp. They are top notch. |
+1 for Unicorp. Not the cheapest, but a great product and the service was great. We had an error on one of our windows and they fixed it no hassle. Would definitely recommend. |
