You are a slave unless you are wealthy

Anonymous
If you are ever actually enslaved, you are in for a VERY rude awakening.

Are you getting paid? You are not a slave. Are you free to make other choices? Yes? Then do so.

But hell yeah, UBI for all!

Why in the world would you advocate for a universal income? It makes no sense. First, the right kind of WORK actually makes us happy. But you have to fine the right kind of work. Being productive and contributing to an end goal is one thing happy people do. Sitting home and watching TV over the course of a lifetime does not contribute to happiness…despite how good it may sound.

Second, a universal income would discourage people from work. companies would have difficult time hiring. The creation and distribution of good and services would be curtailed.

What we need is a system that encourages happy and health employees (free universal child care, health care and lots of paid time off).

I'm going assume that OP is at a low point right now and isn't always this way. It sounds like depression more than anything else.

If OP has always been this way, still probably is depression but time to get head out of a$$ and move forward.

OP how old are you? There are so many opportunities for change in a person's life.

Doesn’t sound like luck sounds like you made a lot of bad decisions.

So we can all become a bunch of lazy losers? No thanks.

Shouldn’t you be working?

Ah, but I am. I managed to find a job where I can work, be fairly compensated, AND browse DCUM on occasion. The life!

Sounds like time theft to me! Shouldn’t you be networking in your spare time?

Don't be jealous. It's ugly.

The idea that dcum frequenting wage workers can actually survive in Alaska off the land! I'd watch that show! The only way some dcumer survives that show is if it is on Netflix! Meaning a tale in Hollywood! Most here can't cook their dinner from scratch! We are all doing great with store-bought pasta and cans!

Which is it many or most? If you can't tell, it's a good thing you did not opt-out and move to Alaska!

Tell us more, please! Once in a while, there is a dcumer that is a gem and can truly entertain us for a long while. You might be one of those! Please don't keep your relatives' tales a secret! Do an AMA!

I want to hear more about this! Would you be willing to do an AMA?

That's what I asked, a bit after you! I did not see your post.

Do some research on true slavery before you make stupid comments. You are not a slave. You have choice. You aren't shackled, raped regularly, sold, your children taken away, etc. Get a grip.
