I am vaccinated but not terribly bothered by people who are both unless they are close friends I want to get back to socializing freely with together with my unvaxed youngest kid. Otherwise there is very little point to worrying on behalf of other people any more - they should get vaccinated.

First,?Catholics are not overwhelmingly Rs -If you Google information about the Catholic vote it is routinely 51-49.
Second, catholic ES, MS and HS were open for in person school all year. There were no large outbreaks and no associated deaths.
Third, get vaccinated and you don’t have anything to worry about.

"Right to life" is complete BS. All they are is pro-pregnancy. They don't care about the mom's life, they don't care about the kid's life after he's born. And heaven help ya if you want to talk about reducing the numbers of pregnancies (and thus also the number of abortions) in the first place through birth control. One of the most successful measures in the nation at reducing abortions was Colorado's program to make free birth control available. Worked FAR better than anything the so-called "pro lifers" ever came up with. They need to just shut up and step aside.

Jesuit is not different from Catholic. It is a religious order of the Catholic Church, just like Benedictines, Holy Cross, Christian Brothers, De La Sallian, etc. etc. They are not the only Catholic religious order that takes learning and rigorous thinking seriously.

According to DC - 80% of current covid positives are in Black community. That is the fact.

They should perhaps open the dorms early, and try to get everyone infected with a charity trip to the ICU to comfort some old people.

Not to mention death penalty that many support (or at least do not speak out on/demand an end to) and various other programs to help people that are opposed by the "right to life" crowd. The whole thing is a sham.
