This isn't correct. In 7 days, men see lots of weight loss on keto. If OP is female, then she's probably not going to succeed with losing weight on a keto diet. Even for men, it tends to work less well after the first successful time dieting.
If men are losing substantial weight on keto in 7 days then it's mostly water weight. A pound of fat provides 3500 calories of energy so there is just no way for substantial weight loss FROM FAT to occur in a week.
