I’m obsessed with my 2 year old

I tell my 2.5 year old all the time she’s my favorite tiny human in the world, we have so much fun!! The other day we were swinging together and giggling and she said “mommy I love playing with you!” And my heart exploded.

Awww 2 is such a sweet age. Now 3 on the other hand lol. Kidding though. Each stage has its own sweetness. I’m glad you are enjoying her.

OMG. DH and I are nuts about our kids. Miss when they were little and we could easily just snuggle with them and kiss them. I totally get it. Best time is when they are toddlers. Yes, lot more work too but they are funny and cute and expressive.

OMG I am obsessed with my 18 month old. She's so squishy and fat and cute. Love love love her. They are only this little and cute for a short time, love them up!

My kids have a 7 yr difference. My DD was so happy when she got a baby brother. She was a mother hen and just adored him. (They are grown up now - its still a mutual admiration society between the two). One day I walked in with her trying to put his infant foot inside of her mouth. She looked at me and said "his toes smell like chicken nuggets". I was thinking - "ok, I am not the only one who thinks that..."

Their mouths smell so nice. That baby milky smell...sooooo good. Back of their necks, their little scalp with wispy soft hair, little toes. They are truly truly a bundle of joy! Every part of them is beautiful and cute and adorable. I don't understand why humans have to become so gross as they become older.

I kept waiting for my kids to become less cute...and it never stopped. Grown up kids now.

But, the years when they are little humans are priceless. Very much hard work too but so joyful. I am glad I fully enjoyed my kids. Did not lick their scalp but I did give them long nose nuzzles which used to squish their chubby cheeks.

Awwww I love this post so much. I was obsessed with my kid at 2 and still obsessed with him at 4. People keep telling me how much various ages suck but so far I’m not seeing it. He is sweet and cute and a joy to spend time with.
