Not for a teenager. For mom, yes.

Omg I laughed so hard when I read this. So true.
Wanted to point check out Costco. I was suprised at the stock they had.

We've had luck with Athleta. Also Titlenine.com.

Athleta would work — they have a variety of bottoms, so not all cheeky, and check out Aerie, Rory, and Billabong.

Thanks all!!

Amazon.

Try Lane Bryant. They have swimsuits with actual bras in them and are made for big boobs. I’m a 38D and love my suits from there.

Look at the Gottex brand. Should be able to get from Nordstrom.

+1 LB has great plus size tops and they seem to hold up.

My 12 year old is a 36 D and they just got a bikini top from Kohls that fits them well.. https://www.kohls.com/product/prd-3984100/womens-eco-beach-long-line-bralette-swim-top.jsp?color=Hot%20Pink&prdPV=2

I don’t *think* she’s a D cup (she usually wears Hanes pullover bras which come in S-M-L) but the Target bikini top with a built-in 34-C bra barely held her in, nor did the size mediums - but the size large were too baggy in the straps. She’s also curvy on the bottom in the sense that her hips are on the wider side, but she’s by no means overweight. All of the bikini bottoms she’s tried on seem to run so small. There were some one-pieces for fuller-figured women at Target but they seem a bit matronly for a young teen (though we might try them on next because we are getting desperate).

Any tips? I browsed Macy’s the other day and they barely had anything. Where should we try next?

Thanks!

It sounds like she is a d cup. Why try to force her into off the rack suits made.for. B/C cups. She might even be DD in swim. Google "d cup swim" and plenty come up. Athlete are my go to and works on a huge age range in the solid tops

I would try Athleta and Title Nine.

Is curvy overweight,?

I second Arie. It is age appropriate and fashionable/young. They have so many styles and shapes for nearly every body type.

I read curvy as having boobs and hips, not being overweight. My kid is a D cup and not overweight at all. No way would one of the swim tops in the Juniors section hold her girls in.

This si why they need bra sizing. It is hard to find but if you see something that works for a teen- please buy it and post it here. Busty but otherwise smallish teens do not have a lot of options.

We had luck on Amazon in finding something with a more modest/retro fit - high waisted bottoms and halter type top.
