Waitlisted as well no handwritten note but the letter did not sound encouraging. Seemed like a form letter where they just filled in DD's name..."Thank you for submitting an application for DD ...We feel DD would be a fine addition to our school..." Did yours start like this?

We're waitlisted. Letter is exactly the same as 16:01. No handwritten note. Insert included to mail back to keep us on the waitlist.

Grab it. May not be your first choice but s/he will get over it.....

Agree! Both my kids were PM Beehivers at 3, and after a brief adjustment, did fine without the afternoon nap. One caught up with weekend naps; the other gave up napping by the time school started anyway. I grew to like the relaxed mornings and not having to rush them out of the house. It was also great to be able to hang out at the playground with other moms and kids after PM dismissal on nice days. NCRC is such a great experience and community; don't pass it up!

Accepted to PM Beehiver too. My DD is refusing naps now anyway. So, I'm glad to hear that it works well. I think it will be great for our household schedule too. Do you attend the summer camp? How is the transition between the two?

PP - you took the words out of my mouth. We are in the same situation. Ugh! In fact, my friends reported that their kids had terrible NCRC playdates & they got in. I'm very happy for them, but can't figure out why our DD didn't get in. UGH again.

I know, I should let it go.....

DD got in (PM Bunny), but we will be sending her Franklin Montessori.

PP, if you don't mind sharing, can you tell us why you chose Franklin over NCRC? We are trying to make the same decision. Thanks.
