How do you hang wet swim suits and towels?

Hang outside

My kid swims year round, and I run a load of laundry every day. So the suit and towel go right into the laundry basket and get washed in the next load (same day for morning practices, the next morning for afternoon practices).

I use a metal folding laundry rack from walmart.

We have one of those accordion fold drying racks. It goes on the deck, or in the garage if the weather is bad.

Or if it's just the one swimsuit (and not the whole family) I will hang it in the shower. We have towel bars inside the shower.

Hang everything on a collapsible wooden dry rack until you can wash it.

We hang them on the drying racks in the basement.

NP. We have a pool and I know it’s clean and I also wash the suits and towels after they are used because the suits and towels smell dank if they are just hung up. Plus, OP’s problem of finding a place to hang all that wet crap. I think it’s gross to not was the suits and towels if you’ve been to a public pool where all kinds of muck could be swimming around.

And it’s not wasteful..just thrown in with the daily laundry.

I replaced the towel bars in their bathroom with a wall hook shelf. It's pretty big so the hooks are big and far enough apart that the suits and towels have plenty of room for drying. I don't notice any chlorine smell and everything gets dry without a problem. The suits are not dripping because I wrap them in the towel for the ride home, which soaks up some of the water. I can't imagine washing suits and towels every day. That seems so wasteful.

To the PP who washes their kid's suit every day -- if it's a Speedo type suit that is not a good idea. Those are supposed to be hand washed and rinsed in cold water only. They've literally been dipped in chlorine; they don't need to be cleaned with soap. Detergent and agitation causes the fabric to wear out so much faster.

All kinds of muck?? Umm ever heard of chlorine? The levels get checked every hour. Some of you on here are so fussy it's ridiculous.

Wash after each use.

Not that poster but my kid does team and I just wash them in a bag each time. They are fine.

We fling them over the shower top to dry. Very simple. Works EVERY time.

We have a pool and put hooks up outside on the covered patio. They hang them there. the youngest just strips down outside LOL. The older two bring wet stuff out after they change.

We got super strong suction cup hooks and hang them in the shower for the suits. Command hooks where the kids can reach for towels.
