I’ve been collecting VA unemployment since March 2020. Other than the initial delays last year, no real issues. I plan to collect the full amount until it stops working.

Counter anecdote, we’ve been waiting for them to process my spouse’s claim since January 2021. No one answers the phone, you can’t go in person because no one answers the phone to make an appointment for you, the closest office that even offers in person is in Fredericksburg...

We are ok digging into savings to pay the delta between my income and our expenses, but I can’t imagine if we were in a different position. And since my spouse is eligible, I’d prefer if we received the benefits as intended.
