FCV has 5 players 06/05 going to ynt camp. That will draw players as other ecnl clubs don’t produce any invitees

Pssssstrr…got a secret for you buddy....plenty of NOVA kids went to the Regional South ID camp in South Carolina.

Hard to be a Club spokesman when you don’t know what your talking about.

These FCV posts are so pathetic. They can’t develop players as their younger teams are no good. Without ecnl , they can’t recruit except for tricking parents into thinking they have some secret college and YNT mojo. Every major club in the area has relationships with college coaches and can place players into YNT camps, if the players wanted it.

The three big clubs with facilities and player pools.

“ Pools” oh yeah that’s why your are craving so anxious to get FCV players showing up in your tryouts. Haha no one actually did.

What’s your problem? You come across like a goof with every post.

FCV doesn’t have a pool. You know this right? They rely 100 percent on transfers.

I’m not sure who is begging for FCV players when there won’t be a single top FCV team in the DMV next year….and I assume this trend will continue.

Next year! You don’t know what it’d be the scope next year. Stop making up fake scenarios.

Scenario? I didn’t provide a scenario. Name one FCV team that will be the best in the DMV next year.

The 18/19 team. Everything else is up for grabs.

Ummm. Nope. Not even close.

VDA, McLean and possible Arlington will all be better.

VDA/FCV U19 game will be good next year, if the clubs actually have a chance to play each other.

Plenty? One from VDA and maybe 2 from Richmond.

Question: how can a team honestly have 4-5 truly deserving kids make regional ID and still get handled by a team that has none. You don’t find that a tad bit suspicious?

Actually of the 5 FCV girls, one is on 06 team, one is on 04 team and 3 on 05 team. But yes, I see your point

That’s shows you how illegitimate it all is. Thanks for pointing that out.

This is the same exact thing as Loudoun and ODP

Coaches and little kids acting like this is some true pipeline. It’s not.

Huh? Us soccer had total control over the Id centers and camps and teams and that still was not enough to drive enough business into the GDA league and the GDA clubs. That entire fiasco league is now gone and done. Poof! Gone!

Around me, they had a few star players that were forced over into the GDA and then a big drop off in the rest if the roster which was mostly players that did not make it did not start on ecnl teams.

That was a crappy time for soccer. Too many so called high -level teams and just a watered down mess all around.

So you’re saying that an 06 got invited to a 05 ID session?

And this doesn’t make you pause and ask….why? How? It doesn’t make you thing a little deeper?

No. It doesn't.

They can not use a few invites to drive an entire league that is very very costly and has a heavy cost and time burden for travel. Families will not tolerate that so they be practice players for a few players. It did not work as a marketing strategy.
