What happened to HPSC Germantown City 03 boys?

Yes, if what I heard is correct they were caught playing older players in a younger age group. I'm not sure if they "won" the game and then were forfeited, or caught prior to game start. Either way, they apparently had their player cards invalidated by MSYSA so EDP can't let them play. This led to the entire club getting kicked out. Sucks for any of the kids/parents who didn't know (if any didn't know) as they have to try find new teams mid-season.

It's about time!, This team has had that reputation for doing stuff like that for several years.

Let me answer to the question of what happened non of our teams got penalized or the club and specially the 03 yes we i got in trouble for putting a player that was not registered for state cup BIG MISTAKE i regret what i did and i am paying for it kids shouldn’t be penalized for something i did the only team that got taken out of state was the 08 and out of EDP
The rest had nothing to do with what i did i did apologized to the state and the team that we put the kid to play against
The is a comment on some of the 03 players playing for a mens team yes they are playing with a men’s team and they are not even 03 they are 04 playing for Germantown City FC thats how good we developed our players we have 2 04 players and 1 03 player playing for Germantown City FC and again it was wrong on my part for what i did lesson learned and move on there is another comment on teams getting our players to strengthen their teams is not gonna happened because the support we have I AM NOT SAYING THE SUPPORT FOR WHAT I DID but the support for the club and continued developing good players and for the other teams that are doing what i did their time will come if they don’t change i do apologized to the rest of the teams for not finishing our season i will complied with the length of my suspension from state hope this will help you to what happened to the 03 we made a decision not to continue due to wearing a mask during games in Montgomery County

Yes, agreed, there are some talented players. But depending how many were playing down it's kind of tough to tell. A pretty good 07 playing 08 might look like a star, but who knows when playing on age.

It's interesting that this team decided to pull all their teams for the season, coincidentally right when they got caught cheating in State Cup. All other MoCo teams managed to deal with the mask mandate. Yeah, we all hate it (for outdoor kids sports at least) but Bethesda and many others practiced and played with masks.

Agree with the coach that other teams do this (including one or two that seem to cross-pollinate players with this team), and I hope this serves as a warning to those teams that there are consequences when you get caught.

As the coach is apparently open to taking questions: I get that deck is stacked against smaller clubs, and being surrounded by Bethesda, Potomac, Achilles, etc. is tough. And I know you have lost good players to some of those teams. But how do you justify teaching 11 year olds that cheating is the way to win? And was it worth it?

Answering your question how do i justify teaching an 11 year old that cheating is the right way well I wasn’t teaching them to cheat or cheating is wright to win a game let me explain what happened and i am not justifying what i did but we got to the field and i had my players there as we checkin there were 3 08 players that were not register some how we made the mistake and not put them in the roster so i had 9 players with the goalie so again i played that kid not because i wanted to win but because we were short and we would played short and again not saying it was right but at that moment i made the wrong decision by playing that kid i think with 10 players we would of won the game and yes i lost players very good to Achilles we still have a string team with out them we will move to play 07 and yes some teams manage to play but outside Montgomery county clubs had home games in other counties not in MoCo a appreciate your comment

clubs getting the message, already afraid of getting caught. I noticed referees paying more attention to rosters and players on field.

I respect all your comments i am not trying to make my self look by responding or admitting to what i did trust me thats not the purpose of all these obesely i made the club look really bad you right about that i just wanted to people know what happened and not punish the kids for my mistake now its time to move on club still exist it is not going anywhere now the club has to clean their bad image is not gonna be easy some people will forget some wont and I can’t blame them thats why i am here responding to any questions and i wanna thank everyone for your comments you all have been very good On your comments i haven’t seen a nasty comment and again i did not play that kid to win i played that kid because we only had only 10 players we played the whole game with no subs
