As a grown ass adult who shops at every store mentioned here honestly I don’t know how you can avoid staying at kids shops. None of these places have sizes smaller than JCrew.


Problem is, she’s too tall for kids sizes that are slim enough. Size 14 is too wide, size 10/12 too short. Can get away with shorts, but even dresses are proportioned wrong - waist too high, etc. at least the weather is getting warm and she can just live in shorts and tshirts for a while.

Old Navy! Great sales, pretty low prices for some of the t-shirts, medium quality. About 70% of 15 yo DD's wardrobe is from there.

Zara. You need to weed through their stuff - I order a ton and return a lot but it’s the only way. It’s the best fit for my lanky children
