Would you travel to Israel this summer?

Anonymous
Not this summer because I'm due with a baby this summer. But otherwise, would love to. I have a lot of extended family there who have never met my kids.

It would depend on what COVID restrictions they have in place for foreigners and how much appears to be up in the air with restrictions in the US. I wouldn't want to get stuck in quarantine there for a long portion of our trip or have our return delayed due to restrictions on the US side.

My spouse and I have traveled all over this planet. We would never step foot in Israel, though. Wouldn't risk a dime going to such an immoral government.

+100. Have traveled all over and will never give that government a cent. They already siphon off a ton of my taxes for shelling innocents so why bother?

No. Not ever.

We have tickets booked for July 26th, and we are hoping that Israel will be allowing individual tourists in by then. It is projected that they will allow individual tourists by June - fingers crossed!

With kids no- you would have to quarantine.

Not this year. I would avoid the summer though! It's HOT. I do hope to go in the next few years - I have close family and friends there I would love to visit with. I am from the former USSR and so many people I grew up with now reside there.

I do wish the government's practices were different and believe the Palestinian people deserve better treatment. However, my extended family is tiny and no one is getting any younger, I love them and know time is precious, and I'm not willing to forego seeing them under any circumstances.

Absolutely. On El Al preferably (pandemic or not).

I'd fly Delta.

Yes. Israel is great. Lived there for two years for work during one of the Gaza wars. Would love to go back

Me again.

I said nope earlier because I read the news and anticipated Israel was on the brink of war.

Have you read the news lately? It’s much clearer now and mainstream media is covering it more directly.

Uh, no. Israel is indeed on the brink of an all-out war. There will be uprisings in every part if the country and its anyone’s guess how things will turn out.
