Politically Calvin Ball is a classic, progressive, liberal democrat. That's who he is, and thats OK. It is not exactly in accord with Larry Hogan's political views. But you dont see all this pushback for pushback's sake. The public spats, name callng, whining. When the state announces something, Hoco reviews, and responds in quick fashion. And 99% of the time that the response is "OK, here is how Hoco is going to administer that plan, thanks governor". When Hogan says "all schools will offer 5 days a week of in person instruction, Martirano says the same thing, on the same day. No pushback just for pushback's sake. Moco always has to be special, and move at a snail's pace to do so. |
