Around how many hours does your teen sleep during school days?

17 year old in bed between 12-1 am (sometimes later), up at 9.

On weekends sleeps in until noon or later.

On the days he has sports, he stays in school for practice and gets home close to 7 PM. Then at home he showers, has dinner and then homework. It takes him long to do his homework because he has ADHD. He’s in bed usually between 11pm and midnight. He gets between 6-7hours of sleep. He’s a sophomore.

My 15yr. old wakes up at 7am goes to school and gets home at 6pm from school practice. He does some homework and then dinner at 8pm. He goes to bed at 10pm and falls asleep within minutes. He gets 9hrs of sleep. I do help him to make sure he's stays on track/schedule.

12-8 virtual school has been a gift in the sense that my senior daughter finally knows what it feels like to be properly rested. So glad she’s graduating and we don’t have to go back to 6:00 wake up.
