Dartmouth V.S. Princeton Preppy

Preppy doesn't mean upperclass or prestige now though - in Southern public schools particularly it means Vineyard Vine polos, salmon-color pants, etc.

In both Southern preppy and Northern preppy, there is the "real" prep and the people who just dress preppy.

Oh and I definitely think Dartmouth is more preppy. There are plenty of preppies at Princeton, but it is a lot intellectual than Dartmouth so more diversity in backgrounds and also in thought, dress, attitude.

I went to Princeton and had a middle-class, public school Southern background. It was a bit intimidating. Only since have I learned that my 9th GGF and GGM were among the first settlers from England on Nantucket. Planning to re-enroll and Bicker at Cap and Gown this time.
