Except it is much higher priced that Acura or Lexus. Volvo S90 starts at 60k. Lexus ES starts at 40k. Mercedes E-class starts at 54k.

Volvo's largest sedan, the S90 starts at 51k and is most comparable size-wise to the Lexus LS which starts at 76k:

Volvo's largest SUV is the XC90 which costs the same as an RX350L or GX.

The LX is $100k and Volvo doesn't even have anything in that segment because they know families in that segment will get either a Suburban/Escalade or GLS

I test drove the highest level trim XC90 that wasn’t hybrid. It’s pretty nice. On par with other luxury cars I’ve had. It was $60k all in. Comparable mercedes GLS is about $75-$80k and is definitely more luxurious inside.
