Wife Has An Annoying Habit

Anonymous
My wife has four, yes four, pairs of wireless headphones and it is annoy as hell when she has them on and YELLS AT ME when I startle her. I'll regularly walk into a room and she'll get mad at me for scaring her. I'm like...you have the headphones on not me. She also talks so loud when she has them on. By this age you should realize when you have headphones on you speak louder...so whisper.

I have two headsets. One in my work bag and one on my night stand. That's it.

This morning I am outside multi-tasking: trying to set up the deck outside while making phone calls. I have my headphones in to do this. She cones out to start telling me how to do things - which is another pet peeve I have. I put my hand up to indicate I’m in a call and she keeps going to the pint I have to pull the headphones out and tell her I’m in a call. She demanded to know with whom when I told her. Now she is pouting about how I disrespected her and she wants an apology rather than acknowledging she was wrong for interrupting and saying “I’m sorry I don’t know you were on a call.

Carve out some food times during the day to communicate w each other and get in the same page - about the deck, kids, trips, schedule, etc.

That way less interrupting or if there is “interrupting” to tell you something that needs to be addressed you’re not a jerk.

This sounds like my DH. He of so loud on his headphone calls. He looks at me like I’m crazy when I ask if he could speak more normally/quieter.
