... of interrupting. She thinks whatever she has to say is if the utmost importance and demands my full attention whenever she is talking. Case in point. This morning I am outside multi-tasking: trying to set up the deck outside while making phone calls. I have my headphones in to do this. She cones out to start telling me how to do things - which is another pet peeve I have. I put my hand up to indicate I’m in a call and she keeps going to the pint I have to pull the headphones out and tell her I’m in a call. She demanded to know with whom when I told her. Now she is pouting about how I disrespected her and she wants an apology rather than acknowledging she was wrong for interrupting and saying “I’m sorry I don’t know you were on a call.
Carve out some food times during the day to communicate w each other and get in the same page - about the deck, kids, trips, schedule, etc. That way less interrupting or if there is “interrupting” to tell you something that needs to be addressed you’re not a jerk.
