How soon after birth can you do an IVF egg retrieval?

How old are you? If you're older than 33-35 I would do the retrieval. If you're younger you have some time

I got pregnant on sperm gas fumes and had a healthy baby

NP- please stuff it

Ehhhh...PP was more blunt than I would put it, but not necessarily too far off the mark. I’m the DP who made the comment about pregnancy after IVF acting as a reboot for my reproductive system. Initially, we had planned on me weaning DD1 at 6mo just so I could do an FET immediately after that. Then we had a somewhat challenging newborn period, and I had an ugly bout of PPD and PPA (exacerbated by the years of infertility), and 6 months turned into a year, and then another year. We ended up waiting until DD was 2 before doing another FET.
Good to have a plan in mind, OP...but sometimes reality isn’t what you expected.

I'm sure OP is aware that she might change her mind. Telling her so is condescending and unproductive. Answer the a question she asked and MYOB. She wasn't looking for opinions on whether she will want more kids.
