FCV College brag goes on

Not an FCV parent but dissecting playing time from their current D1 players is about the dumbest thing I have seen on here. Why did you stop at D1 college soccer? How many minutes did FCV kids get playing knock out round Champions League football this year? Oh I don't know. Zero maybe? Get a grip.

Can’t be sure, but it seemed like an existing FCV parent that was analyzing the playing time of former FCV players at VT and W&M in that post. Some in house fighting and anti-Pup coming to DCUM?

Bottom of class at Cornell.

🙌With 8 more players joining in the next couple years, #FCV will continue to be BIG Hokie and Tribe fans!

Probably should spend more time on the current FCV players to ensure they are ready for college play. WE are they ones paying you!!! Its more than getting a walkon spot on a team. It would be even better to be able to play and ever better to play and have commitment money! The social media is always about prior players. "look at this great goal from 2 years ago" Why not feature the current teams? OH wait... because they aren't doing well?

VT: (2 out of 6 seeing time)
Player 1 - quit - no playing time
Player 2 - transfer to Mississippi
Player 3 - Bench - no time
Player 4 - Bench - no time
Player 5 - contributor
Player 6 - contributor

W&M: (2 out of 6)
Player 1 - Bench
Player 2 - Bench
Player 3 - very min playing time (under 50 mins all season)
Player 4 - Very min playing time
Player 5 - Contributor
Player 6 - Coaches daughter

More bench warmers to come unfortunately. It’s who you know until who you know doesn’t come to college with you.

Is anyone going to tell VT they got duped?

Maybe they should start keeping track of their performance in adult rec leagues once they finish college

Don't insult Andy like that. He was a soloist in "Here Comes Treble", my favorite acapella group.

That is a great sentence. And it's true for a lot of things

No, I do believe it is the college being spoon-fed lies. One thing FCV is great at, Committing players. No one can deny that. Unfortunately it’s based on who you know not talent, just the illusion of such. 10-0 8-0 scores? Anyone looks like a star when going against Rec teams.

It doesn’t take a Genius to understand that if you want to play at a slower pace driving up scores that your developments not going to be as strong as if you were going up against like talent or higher making you think faster, play faster thus developing into the player that won’t just sit the bench but possibly developing you into a stronger player helping that athlete in college. College is on a whole other level.

This is what most people say about NC clubs when they play against Loudoun.

Clearly something clubs need to work on in the area. Or manage kids expectations - once they are away from the "coaches" at club level - it wont really matter how much that coach did for them to showcase them. College is a different level and those coaches want to win games with technical athletic players.
