This was built in 1920s. I bet original exterior was fabulous. But someone clearly did bad bad bad things to exterior all the way.

They just did a shoddy job of priming/painting...I don't know what gives this look but you almost never see it in nicely re-done exteriors in Europe. But you go to the Balkans/Greece/Turkey and you see this weird fake looking plaster & paint combo in re-painted old buildings. The exterior was beautiful before they repainted it though.
