If you have never tested positive for COVID...

I think quarantining except for going to the grocery store once every two weeks, and a few dr appointment actually works. I have barely left my house.

I have no known direct exposure, have never tested positive, and have tested negative for antibodies in repeated blood donations, so probably not asymptomatic.

Things I have done: all doctor's and dentist's visits (4), gym 2-4x a week (unmasked), LOTS of outdoor time alone, with friends, family, almost never masked unless it's a very highly trafficked area. Not for things like brief passes <6 feet. Indoor getaways and occasional unmasked gatherings with "pod," hiking on very busy trails and accepting hands from strangers (virtually no one was masked), Outdoor dining and picnics, 2-5 stores/shops a week, occasional indoor meetings (masked), and zero hand sanitizer usage. Probably rubbed my face every time I touched a crosswalk signal.

I don't know if I'm totally immune to covid (different than asymptomatic) or it's actually a bit more difficult to get than lots of people think, but I've done a fair amount of things and have yet to believe I've ever had it or been directly exposed.

I’ve never been tested ever. My DH, I believe, was a long hauler, having contracted Covid in Jan 2020. So, I believe I’ve been exposed, and was probably a symptomatic as DH was still in our room coughing all over the place.

The virus has become so widespread and so contagious it seems like there can’t be that many left who’ve been able to completely avoid exposure.

I’ve worked in an office the entire time. My kid has been in preschool.

I’ve gotten tested for COVID twice, and was negative both times. One was because I went to a protest and Hogan had wanted everyone who went to a protest to get tested. The second was because I had a sore throat. I also got an antibody test early on and was negative for COVID antibodies. That was just out of curiosity.

So I’m pretty positive I’ve never had it. Now I’m fully vaccinated.

3/8 out in my sons college apartment have tested postive including his roommate. He has never tested postitve...after 6 tests from the school. There have been many cases of roommates not infecting each other which is surprising.

I kind of believe I've had an asymptomatic case. It's now 1/9 in my area that have had it. We've been EXTREMELY cautious, but have had too many unavoidable instances of things like unmasked repair people coming in to places we couldn't easily ventilate.
I also had a week long bout of gross digestive issues worse than anything I've had in my life, but had no other symptoms whatsoever. I wasn't going into stores at all at the time here. Due to my city having a huge huge outbreak we really isolated, but I suppose I could have picked it up somehow. (My partner is high risk before someone feels the need to come in screeching about how locked down I said we were).

99% sure we never had it. I’m asthmatic and have horrible flare-ups any time I get a cold, so I assume the likelihood of me getting asymptomatic covid is pretty much nil. DH and I both work from home. We socialize with no one, indoors or outside. One of us makes a grocery run once every 2 weeks. DDs are in a daycare that takes lots of precautions. There were several isolated cases at daycare back in the fall (teachers, not kids) and no spread within the school. We had both girls tested via PCR one week after their two exposures, and tests were negative.
I gave birth early on in the pandemic, and I was terrified of being in the hospital at that point. I was so certain we would come home with it that I checked out ASAP, which was 24 hours after delivery. It was nerve-wracking, being in there with a newborn.

My family was sick in the March time frame. Several people got sick too. There were no tests then so we'll never know

Yes, they probably already had it.

Lived in high-rise NYC apartment building for nearly a year of the outbreak. Have flown, gone to the dentist, yearly physical, mammogram. Repeatedly tested negative for COVID and antibodies.

I'm pretty sure I recall reading somewhere that people with asymptomatic cases generally won't generate enough antibodies to show up in testing.

I was exposed and so was my whole family. We spent hours with a family member in the same room and he developed symptoms two days later. 4 of us tested twice (all negative) and never had symptoms. Of the 2 family members that lived with him, only 1 developed Covid. It’s a very random disease and there seems to be a lot of luck regarding who gets it or not.

Interesting. FWIW, I never felt sick and I'm in my 50s.

I have rarely gone inside anywhere except my own house. To the pharmacy every three months and for an occasional blood test. I do grocery pickup, work from home, and have everything else delivered. Have been so incredibly sick from the flu in the past I thought I was going to die, so haven't been taking any chances. Have gone everywhere masked, even masked outside if there are any other people around.

It seems very unlikely to me that our family wouldn’t have been exposed, but who knows 🤷‍♀️

We live in one of the hardest hit areas of the country, spouse works in a high risk profession (dentist), 3 school aged kids (who have been back in person since October). We know tons of people who have had it. We have followed all the “rules” but are not the over sanitizing type at home (we didn’t do anything special beyond basic cleaning and hand washing as we have always done), and have always shopped mostly in person and kept up on medical appointments and such. We socialize plenty (always outdoors).

I guess we will probably never know. Never been interested in antibody testing and DH and I are fully vaxed now.
