Sidwell wait list....is it real?

DC was waitlisted at Beauvoir and Sidwell. An EC told us the odds of movement at Sidwell were basically zero and that the Beauvoir list was more likely to move. The average waitlisted Beauvoir applicant may be no more likely (or even less likely) than the average waitlisted Sidwell applicant to reach the promised land, but for those near the top of the list, the ods may be slightly better at Beauvoir than Sidwell.

All of which, I know, is pretty much splitting hairs. It's maddening either way. Good luck, OP.
