I like it. My little sister has an ostensibly French name that we thought would get her teased in school (we are not French at all) but she ended up being one of 3 with the name in her graduating MS/HS class

It's not my style but I think -ette/-etta names are due for a resurgence since the -elle/-ella names have dominated for a decade. Next stop -een/-ene!
